Nonprofit organizations across the United States brought in a revenue total of $1.9 Trillion is 2008. In 2009 that number dropped by the billions, and in 2010 is expected to drop even more. This decrease in revenue has forced many nonprofit organizations to cancel programs, cut employees, and many are being forced to shut down.
