Have you been looking around your bathroom and realizing that it looks relatively boring? Sure you have all the things that a bathroom needs to have in it, it's just not that exciting to look at. What is it that you could be missing? Well, maybe its time to look at some of the bathroom accessories you may not have thought of that can do wonders in this space.

This article is going to focus on one of the often overlooked but very useful accessories to have in the bathroom that can not only fill a few voids but also be appreciated by those who use them. We're talking about towel racks and towel looks. Towel hooks are very tiny pieces of hardware. They are usually attached to one or two points on a wall and serve the job of literally holding up towels for you to use. While it seems like such a little thing, this is one of those things that you take for granted until you don't have them.

Many people find themselves in a new bathroom, not thinking about towel racks and suddenly want to take a shower but have nowhere to hang their towel. Most likely, they'll end up draping it over the back of the toilet, on the counter of the sink or some other similar place. But wouldn't it be much more convenient if you had a towel rack that was right where it belonged, within arms reach of the shower.

As soon as you're done with the shower all you have to do is reach out and the towel is in your hand. This is the way it is supposed to be.

So now that you know that it would be nice to have towel racks in your home, it's time to delve into what kind of towel racks you want. There are a couple of options when it comes to choosing which type of towel hanging device you want and where you are going to put them.

Towel Hooks

The first option is towel hooks. Towel hooks have a lot of variety within the family as they can come as individual hooks that can be placed anywhere you want to on a wall, each one holding up one towel. Or one can also purchase a bar of towel hooks. This is a bar that goes on a wall and has 2,3,4 or more hooks that towels can be placed on. This is nice if you have a home with a lot of people in it.

Towel Bars

A towel bar is literally a rod that will be attached to the wall in two or more places and used to hold a towel over it. Usually a towel folded and the middle is draped over the bar to hold it there until it is needed.

Towel Racks

The final option is towel racks. Towel racks are racks that can hold one or more towels. Usually there are multiple rods involved in towel racks. These can either be attached to the wall or be freestanding units that can hold a number of towels at a time.
