This is one important lesson that a cook in Flames Restaurant learned when he was stabbed by his co-worker on Saturday. Police investigators said that the incident happened in Mattapan Restaurant when one cook stabbed the victim.

According to the victim, whose identity remained undisclosed, the stabbing incident happened after a heated argument between them. The suspect, who is also a cook, grabbed a kitchen knife and charged right at the victim. The stomach area was the target. The victim though tried to get away from what was happening. He sustained injuries to his abdominal area and was rushed immediately to the Boston Medical Center which was the nearby hospital. He was treated promptly there for injuries that were not life threatening. Investigators also said that there were patches of blood on the victim’s clothes.

The suspect was identified as Wellesley Clarke. He is 55 years old and he hails from Boston. He was placed under arrest a few moments after the incident. Clarke will now be facing charges of assault and battery with knife. The police investigators also took hold of the knife used in the stabbing incident and it will be used as evidence.

Being always on guard can help individuals avoid situations like this. In this case, the unassuming victim was stabbed by an instrument he frequently uses - the knife. Cases like this can serve as an eye-opener for individuals to be very careful with a thing that can cause harm.
