Battlefield Bad Company 2 or Red Dead Redemption?

Im getting sick and tired of mw2 all the noob tubing and commando knifing is just retarded. Your probly thinking just get whichever you like more and i love (them both from playing at friends houses) and i want to know which one would last me longer and give me more entertainment for a longer time.

Well if you want a game that will give you entertainment for a longer time, then dont get Red Dead Redemption. Yes, the story is quite long, and there are a few things to do aside from the story, but I find most of these things boring, and the multiplayer is also boring (Unless you have a LOT of friends to play with). When I finished the main story, I could barely stick with it for more than 10 minutes without switching games. So yes, get Bad Company 2. You may be thinking that its just a copy of MW2, but its not. MW2 promotes camping, stupid perks, noob tubing (as you said), and a whole lot of other crap that I find annoying sometimes. Battlefield discourages camping, and is a more realistic, fun shooter, that will keep you hooked on the multiplayer for ages.
In other words, just get Bad Company 2. Period.

Law enforcement is among the easiest careers to pursue and makes a noble profession. For one to be successful in this profession however, they will have to be truly committed to law enforcement. Commitment is required due to the challenging nature of this career. While some police officers are very young, others join the profession much later. It is imperative for one to take his or her time to decide if this career is the heart's desire and which type of law enforcement seems the most interesting for him or her. Law and order has different branches in terms of career choices. Police officers can be urban police or they can be rural sheriffs, either way, they still serve as officers.

There are some basic guidelines for those desiring to familiarize themselves with how to become a police officer. A good educational background is an important prerequisite to becoming a law enforcer. The most basic level of education required of a police officer is high school level. It is also crucial for one to have attained a Bachelor's or an Associate's degree. It is advisable for aspiring law enforcers to take up courses that relate to human behavior, computer systems, criminal justice as well as legal issues and other subjects that cover law enforcement. Law enforcement applicants who have attained a high level of education have a higher chance of success than applicants with modest training do.

Physical fitness along with moral fitness is an important prerequisite to being a law and order officer. Aspirants would be well advised therefore, to be involved in sports and other physical activities that make the body fit. On moral fitness, those who have committed crimes on a large scale such as extensive violations of traffic regulations, drug peddling among other misdemeanors are likely not to be employed. Police officers are supposed to be exemplary citizens.

If law enforcement as a career excites you, and you want to read more about it, check out my recent article titled become a police officer.

How do these cod 6 classes sound to you ?

sniper
barrett - acog scope - stopping power - marathon - commando
secondry - spas - red dot

overall
tar - silencer - stopping power - steady aim - sleight of hand
second - m9 - tactical knife

When i want to knife and use pistol only
primary - doesnt matter
secondy - m9 with tactical knife - commando - marathon - and the one that makes you move faster

what you think of it >?

Knife only is for noobs >_> One that makes you move faster is called lightweight. And the primary weapon does matter, it also affects how fast you move. You'll move faster with a little SMG rather than a big ol' LMG!

And the TAR-21 is the best Assault Rifle in my opinion, with stopping power. It's so powerful! Your overall class is good.

I don't like the look of your sniper class however. Try this sniper class I have found works really well for me:
Primary - WA2000 w/ Thermal Sight
Secondary - M93 Raffica w/ FMJ
Equipment Slot - Claymore
Special Grenade Slot - Smoke
Perk 1 - Scavenger Pro
Perk 2 - Cold Blooded Pro
Perk 3 - Sit Rep Pro

Reasons: WA2000 is a one hit kill if you hit in the chest or above, thermal so you can see easier (also the normal scope for the WA2000 is massive and silly), with claymore, as you have scavenger, when someone dies from your claymore, you can just pick up the package and place another (max of 2 claymores), and if they avoid the claymore you can hear them coming anyway as enemy footsteps are louder with Sit Rep Pro (needs to be Pro) icon smile British Wilkinson
Cold Blooded is clearly the best perk, you will be invisible to UAV (vital for a sniper) and all air support. Smoke is just handy in every situation, whether it's to get across a large opening with no cover, or to chuck in a room of enemies so you can sneak in and own 'em icon smile British Wilkinson
Oh and M93 Raffica w/ FMJ is a really powerful machine pistol, accurate and fast firing.

Yeah so hope this helped, try the class out. It might take a little getting used to but you will do good. It's not a class for quick-scoping however icon smile British Wilkinson
Good luck!

Letters reveal key role played by 'passionate' wife in securing justice for Alfred Dreyfus
Oxford historian argues that unpublished correspondence show that the accused's family were more central to winning his release than the celebrated intervention by Emile Zola Fresh light has been thrown on the Dreyfus Affair, the cause célèbre that divided France and shook the world in the late 19th century, by the discovery of thousands of unpublished letters. Depleted Uranium in Tank and Artillery Shells

We've heard a lot about the dangers of depleted uranium in tank and artillery shells used in recent conflicts. Why is such a dangerous substance used, especially if the dangers remain long after the shell has been fired and could contaminate allied troops who occupy former enemy positions?

D.U. is a very good material since it has a high density and and at the same time very strong and hard but at the same time not brittle. That means excellent penetration capabilities. And in addition to this the D.U. fragments will start to burn after penetration causing secondary damage to the target which will lead to a higher kill probability.

Other countries that have limited access to DU us heavy metal such as wolfram carbide and similar alloys that also have good penetration capabilities.

The difference between them is that Wolfram Carbide is very expensive to create but easy to machine into ammunition. DU is relatively cheap but on the other hand very hard to manufacture. This makes them comparable in price.

But the two materials are equally dangerous after penetration when inhaling dust since wolfram Carbide is toxic when inhaled.

There is currently no other alternative to material for use in anti-tank ammunition and high-capability armor piercing rounds than just Wolfram alloys and DU.

Let's say the tank crew is locked in their tank -- and they know that the enemy foot soldiers are clambering all over the tank. The crew doesn't want that. I think I was told about modern tanks firing a grenade upwards then it exploding. This had the effect of killing the unwanted enemy scrambling over the tank, but not harming the tank because of its armor. Have you ever heard of such a thing? If not -- what do tank crews do if there are 5 enemy personnel scrambling around on the roof and they want rid of them? On modern tanks there are some ways to prevent enemy soldiers to climb "onboard".

1. Speed makes it hard to get on the tank. Its though to get up when a tank is still moving, imagine when it is driving along in 10 km/h

2. A tank is never alone. Another tank can easily hose the other tank with machinegun fire to get rid of soldiers climbing on top.

3. There are systems like the French Giat Galiz that can fire smoke grenades as well as high explosive grandes that detonate right outside the tube covering the tank in shrapnel.

An enemy that has the chance to climb up on a tank is doing something that can easily be described as suicide. It would be much better to sneak up within close range and fire an rpg or place an explosive device. Which would in any scenario, be classified as suicide attempt.

I have quite a few clients who were in tanks in Vietnam. Several have signs of brain injury, without history of trauma - other than being in tanks during combat. Is there any evidence that the violent shaking of the head or impact of sound waves could have produced brain injury in these veterans?

I cannot confirm or deny, just speculate This was a question that I have never encountered before. I have never heard of such a connection with brain damage & tanks.

High noise can lead to tinnitus (high pitch noise & ringing in the ears) which in turn can lead to problems and unhealthy. Violent shaking and bouncing in tanks with helmets on could cause stretched neck muscles and I guess, in theory, more severe injuries.

Why would Israeli commandos have paintball guns to take over a ship?

isn't that like taking a crayon to a knife fight ? Does anyone think that maybe they were actually like a plasma shock and confuse stun gun that looks like a paintball gun but delivers a kick butt blast ..and maybe a paintball just for fun every 3rd round ?

They also had sidearms, which they eventually used on the activists after one of the activists took and Israeli sidearm and unloaded an entire clip, killing an Israeli soldier.

Paintballs hurt like a motherfucker. Ever been paintballing? Without protection, your body can very easily be covered in large bruises and blisters. They'd be used to subdue the activists.

Going Native In Afghanistan
June 13, 2010: Police corruption in Afghanistan is so rampant, and so damaging to the counter-insurgency campaign, that the issue made the cover of TIME magazine. The Americans have realized that something needs to be done to fix this as quickly as possibly but as competently as possible.

Brits in Hollywood: a Look into the American appetite for British television

British talent has long been making tracks in Hollywood, particularly in the realm of television. From scriptwriting to on-screen talent, Brits continue to succeed in selling, developing and importing British television to the US.

But it’s no surprise as to why. The American appetite for British television is sizeable. This spring and summer, American versions of I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here! , Merlin, and Who Do You Think You Are? will make their debuts on US television. Moreover, with shows like Dancing With the Stars (Strictly Come Dancing) and Wife Swap featuring on US channels, it’s clear that British ideas have become a staple of American television.

The experts have noted that past success with British shows and talent has opened US broadcasters up to British ideas. An established talent agency also said that the American openness to British ideas is recognition that the world has become a smaller place. It was stated that there is much less US arrogance about what might and might not work and that audiences don't care if it was originally a UK show - they will watch any good television.

Yet it’s not always so simple to break British talent into the US. For instance, Who Do You Think You Are? was first sold to a US channel four years ago, but it initially failed to make any progress. Eventually, it was aired after a popular US television and movie personality helped the show take off in the United States. It has been noted that the case with Who Do You Think You Are? demonstrates the difference between British and American television - in Britain, a good format can sell itself while in America, shows usually have to have somebody famous on board as well.

However, rewards are very different in US television versus in UK television. In Britain, a comedy writer can get between £5,000 and £15,000 an episode, with six episodes in a series, while in the US, a writer's fee can be anywhere between $50,000 (£35,000) and $250,000 an episode, with 22 episodes running.

Still, success is a big ‘if’. Very few programmes get past the script stage to a pilot show, and even then, only about 10 per cent make it to air. It subsequently takes at least three successful series before a programme is considered profitable. But once a show gets past all this, it has a decent chance of becoming a hit.

Whether you’re a fan of UK television or US versions of UK programmes, you can catch all your favourite programmes via a satellite television service. Satellite TV usually offers a wide range of channels to choose from, so you can take your pick from both UK and US-adapted British shows. And if your satellite service is paired with digital television, even better - you can watch the best of British TV while enjoying a superior image on your digital TV.

It seems that everywhere you look at these days you see ads for some new type of survival knife. Survival knife ads have taken over nearly all of the outdoor magazines and now they're creeping into a lot of the websites and blogs about outdoor activities. Fortunately, the Gerber Prodigy Survival knife stands out among the mountain. But does this mean that it is the survival knife you need? The fact that there are so many knives on the market today makes it extremely hard for the beginner, and even the experienced survivor in many cases, to determine which survival knife best fits their needs. On the other hand, it can be a good thing to have so many knives to choose from. Nowadays...
