I have always wanted the great "how we met" story. The kind of tale you tell your grandkids on the front porch swing (before they’re too old to make retching noises or the vomit face.) Something like accidentally swapping bags at the airport or running into an old friend from high school or finally meeting the guy you pass every day while running in the park or… buying grandpa at an auction?

Well here is your chance to take a step toward a possible happily-ever-after – and support the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life of Hoboken at the same time. Yes, ladies, get your paddles ready (and your minds out of the gutter) because the boys are up for bids!

The ACS is busy gathering bachelors from Hoboken and New York City for the Third Annual Bachelor Auction, to take place on Wednesday, March 19 at Texas Arizona. The Bachelor Meet & Greet begins at 7:00pm, and bidding promptly at 8:00. Bidding for each bachelor will start at $5, with cash, credit cards and checks made out to the American Cancer Society being accepted. 

Even if buying a bachelor is not in your cards, come out and support the bachelors as they strut their stuff, and enjoy generous drink specials courtesy of host venue Texas Arizona. The special includes $2 drafts (Coors Lite, Miller Lite, and Bud Lite), $3 Miller Lite bottles, all Skyy Vodka drinks for $4, and all martinis with Skyy Vodka for $5.  SoCo Lime shots will be $4, with $1 from every shot going to Relay For Life of Hoboken.  In addition, the first 10 Bachelors to go for over $50 and their bidder will receive a $25 Gift Certificate to Texas Arizona.

Last year, 21 bachelors took to the stage and auctioned themselves off to the packed crowd. In the end, over $2,000 was raised by these brave bachelors and their charitable winning bidders. Will the bachelors garner even more this year? Will there be any lasting love connections made? Will Mike Linn beat rival bachelor Matt LoVecchio to earn the top earning spot again??
