Red Cross invites public to annual meeting Wednesday
The Colonial Crossroads Chapter will hold its annual meeting at 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, at the Summit Recreational Center, 100 Morris Ave.

We at times write down, think or say many things that have been said before, not remembering from where we have picked up such ideas. At times inspiration comes from that which we have seen or something or other that has been said, this being the catalyst that produces a chain of further thought which we then develop into a brand new product or completely different idea.

We know we are a force unto ourselves but we are made up of many bits and pieces of times past, that which are called our genes, unheard of by most ordinary people until recently but now a part of our daily converse. We can and many of us do go back down the line to find out from where we came, to have many surprises, good and not so good, sometimes finding that we are not really what we thought we were.

All this mix up is going on around us constantly, that of other people's thoughts and the past events of other lives which we hear of or read about. We talk frequently to what we may term strangers, those that we just happen upon, not staying in their company for very long but gaining maybe from them something we need to know. When two people meet, however briefly, neither of them is exactly the same person as they were before that meeting, something from each has had an effect, either slight or profound, upon the other.

We are influenced in life by many ways and views, this goes on from when we were very young, collecting our knowledge from one and another, either consciously or subliminally. We do pick up from all sorts of people in life's ways, some we like and others we do not care a great deal for. Sometimes we wonder to self why it is that we simply do not like a certain person, it can be that we and they do not mesh in the ways of giving off vibrations that we cannot see and are not aware of but they are there just the same. With other people we just know on first sight that we like them and will be happy in their company.

We can all learn from another person or from life itself, just by reading a book or a newspaper we are taking in what others are making of the situation they are writing about. If you do not feel happy with any one thing, reading or being told, put it upon one side because for that said time it will not be for you, at a later date you may then pick it up and feel that it makes sense. We are all the same in life, we take in things even if we think we do not; whatever we hear, see, think or feel is there, being stored up in our memory banks to be made use of at another time.

We all have choices to make in all sorts of ways whether they are of the good or the ill. Sometimes we come up with good ideas so suddenly and so different from the train of thought we were following that we wonder where they have come from. This of new ideas is not rare, they are all over the world being put together by the many, to be then brought into the material world to be made.

We all take from this pool of thought that is running throughout our world, thought is the first step in the making of all things we do, so we are not what we may think we are, just bits and pieces of one another in many ways and sorts and of all that is around us. So keep going, keep learning and while so doing, think seriously upon what makes you what you are.

Redevelopment Authority proposes adding Bridge Street to Morrisville’s Enterprise Zone Officials from the Bucks County Redevelopment Authority (RDA) gave a presentation at the Morrisville Borough Council meeting on June 15, asking whether council wants to expand the Enterprise Zone (EZ) to include the commercial corridor, meaning Bridge Street. Colonial Jack

Capturing the city's cadence Listen carefully as dawn breaks over The Battery. Squawking seabirds combine with the sounds of lapping waves on the rocks below to announce another day in paradise has begun. The Magic Jack is basically a small box that needs to be plugged into the USB port of your computer to be able to make free calls to USA and Canada. The device uses VoIP technology and offers a host of benefits that others in the category don't. The company now plans to launch another service that [if it works as good as the Magic Jack] is bound to attract some frowns from the conventional cell phone service providers. A cell phone version of Magic Jack will soon flood the market....

Should You Keep Rare Tropical Fish? There is a lot of controversy these days over rare and exotic pets, and included in that controversy is question of whether or not you should keep rare tropical fish. Some may argue that rare animals of any variety should not be taken from their natural habitat so that they can breed and be as healthy as possible, while others argue that keeping any animal in captivity can actually be safer than letting it loose in the wild. And since keeping rare tropical fish means that they won't be in the ocean near predators and other harmful elements, and they'll be kept in a closed and controlled environment, is there really any harm to this? Let's take a look...

San Fermin celebrations continue on Sunday, July 11, 2010 Events happening in and around New Orleans Well-Known Puma Knives - History Of Hunting KnivesPuma knives from Solingen, have an impressive history! Puma-Werk of Solingen, Germany, actually originated in the water-powered mill workshop of Johann Wilhelm Lauterjung on the banks of the Wupper River. Lauterjung was able to register his very first trademark with the help of the Solingen Master Cutlers Guild way back in 1769. They produced hunting knives, swords, razors, shears and other metal products with the then-current technology of natural sharpening stones and hydraulic water power. In 1855, Nathaniel Lauterjung brought the company...

Barracuda attack terrorizes family off Venice coast The fish jumped from the water, flew across the boat like a bullet, clamped onto the girl's left arm and left it looking like "raw hamburger." Scarcely a year after UFC 2009 was released with much success, UFC Undisputed 2010 has hit the gamers population with a knockout punch once again. This game shows tons of promise as many of the wants from the masses were put into this game as players can straightaway do much more than last year's version.
