The biggest surprise at our daughter's 10th birthday party was the look on her face when she first laid eyes on the Razor Pocket Mod scooter! In fact, she didn't even believe it was intended as a gift until we convinced her. Now, she rides it religiously, and has learned to love it's many features!
She had always been envious of her two best friends, who live in our neighborhood and ride cute little pink electric scooters. Of course they have to have the matching pink knee pads and helmets, too! So now, they ride together almost daily. They are quite a sight to see as they "buzz" around the neighborhood.
The cool thing is that we actually got my wife to ride the Razor Pocket Mod scooter. I wanted to get her opinion of the various features.
Firstly, she was REAL impressed with how fast it would go. She weighs about 135 lbs, and it still topped out at 15 mph, as advertised. As opposed to many models designed for kids, the Pocket Mod has a handy storage compartment.
My wife liked the fact that she had a place to put her purse etc. She mentioned that the twist grip throttle was not only responsive, but kind of fun, too!One little twist, and she took off like a rocket!
The brakes are hand grip, "bicycle style", and they provide very sure braking. What really surprised her was the suspension. Apparently, it provides a smooth ride even over a bumpy surface. The smooth ride is probably due to it's hefty weight of 90 lbs, and 12 inch pneumatic tires. The Razor Pocket Mod scooter will run continuously for up to 30 minutes on a charge, and charging the battery pack is a breeze.
Also, we bought our Razor Pocket Mod from a website that offers quality electric scooters at DIRT cheap prices! Harper defends need for costly, violent G8, G20 summits Prime Minister Stephen Harper says international summits are an irreplaceable tool that world leaders use to reach out to one another and accomplish major tasks of diplomacy. One of my favorite lunches on a hot summer day is a nice cool vegetarian pita pocket. A pita pocket is great in that it is indeed bread shaped like a pocket, and you can put any foods you want into it. The only thing you really need to make a pita pocket is a piece of pita bread. There are two basic ways to cut the pita bread. The first way to cut your pita is right in half, so you have two pretty much equal half circle pockets of pita. The other way to cut...

He was 81. "Smile you're on candid camera" as the quote from the TV show used to say. Few of us realize that we are on that "candid camera" constantly. Every day we are watched by other people and we in turn watch them. Isn't it true, that when you walk into a store and the sales representative gives you a grouchy look, you know not to ask her a question. This also goes for the customer that comes in grouchy and uptight looking and the sales rep is afraid to ask you if you want help......

Here are some of the interesting stories and uses that people have for Swiss Army knives. See Part 1 for previous stories. Story 4 - M. Bourgeois from Idaho Falls, ID One Christmas I gave each of my two girls a "Miss A" knife. You've probably seen these things - pink and purple, with lots of girl "tools". I was hoping the girlies, ages 13 and 11, would think the knives were fun and maybe somewhat useful. As any dad could have told you, I was destined to be wrong. My girls are never ungrateful, but the "Miss A" knives were greeted in a most unenthusiastic way....
