Driven: 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee
There's a clash of titans set for the end of this year, when the 2011 Ford Explorer makes its public debut after an endless teaser campaign on Facebook. Yes, that campaign, the one we're all over on our social-media-for-cars site. What's the other mythical creature being tossed in the ring? The 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee, brand-new this year, and so...
The private pilot license exam is actually not that difficult if you properly prepare yourself for it. There are schools, study guides, and programs all designed to help you ace the test the first. Here's the problem though - if you've ever used test guides before, you'll know that they usually aren't very thorough. They may go over a couple things, but in the end you need to supplement them with a couple more guides. This can be very stressful, and you'll end up wasting a lot of valuable time just making sure you're not leaving anything out.
You don't need to be worrying about that stuff when you're trying to pass the exam. You need to make sure you have the necessary subject matter to past the written portions. You need to have sufficient knowledge about navigation, air law, meteorology, human limitations and performance, and aircraft general. Whether you want to be a helicopter pilot, a single engine Cessna pilot, or a multiengine commercial aircraft pilot, there is a huge amount you need to know. It can be pretty daunting and time is factor in this as well. That being the case, you should remember to study quickly. You can't give yourself hours to complete a practice test when in reality you only get a fraction of that to complete it.
So how can you possibly pass the exam on your first try? And how can it really be an easy thing to do? In my opinion, the easiest way to prepare for a test is to know what's going to be on it ahead of time. No, that doesn't mean you have to cheat, but for a guide to be valuable it needs to include questions and answers that are either identical or very close to the ones you'll see on the test. Otherwise, you won't feel fully prepared on test day.
Though Gleim makes good study guides, they don't really offer this. They leave off some very importnat information and you end up needing to search for more. That's why I think PPL Exam Pro is the very best in private pilot training preparation. You can check out my full PPL ExamPro review here and I'm willing to bet you'll be pretty satisfied with it. You'll just need this one resource and you'll be set.
Mark J Sinclair writes about the PPL exam and can show you the best way to get your private pilot license on the very first try.

Genesis 6:4
There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
The sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them. All the sons of God...
Avid knife aficionados know the uses for a pocket knife are endless, and an exhaustive list would quickly prove the knife is among the most useful and versatile tools on the planet. So, as we find ourselves in the midst of summer, here are five of the best summertime uses for an affordable pocket knife. 1. Whittling. Whittling is the craft of deliberately carving or shaving off pieces of wood in order to fashion an instrument, design, or shape. Start with simple projects, like whittling sticks into spears, arrows for makeshift bows and, of course, the ever-needed marshmallow roasters. Then, once you're ready for more of a challenge, try your hand at crafting more elaborate creations...

Jagged Edge Jagged Era Pop Music CD ReviewJagged Edge, very talented Pop group have released their latest CD titled Jagged Era and Wow! It’s really a good one.
Refreshingly, this was one of those CDs I was able to just pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish.
Jagged Era is a nicely varied, mix of 10 tracks that are very well written and brilliantly performed songs by these clearly superb...
