When a lot of people think of manufactured homes floor plans or a manufactured homes floor plan, they think of a mobile home that is a rectangle without any other options to it. These types of homes have come a long way from the first ones that did just look like a trailer without wheels and maybe one window. In fact, most people probably would not be able to recognize the difference from a manufactured home and a traditionally built one today. This article will look into the many different style options that are now made in this manner that will save homeowners a great deal of money and can get the custom home they always wanted.
The first style of home that could be created would be a wonderful log home style. This would be perfect for those homeowners that want to build a home on their mountain property such as in Colorado or even in the Appalachian Mountains. Building a traditional log cabin is a costly one with the transporting of all of the logs and materials but if it can be all made at a factory and then transported to be put together on site, it will be a lot more affordable. If you are an avid skiing family, just imagine pulling up to your custom log home after a day on the slopes and heading inside for a cozy night by the fireplace.
Another style of home that would be great for the East Coast or even in a beach location would be the Cape Cod style home. This beautiful, classic and traditional style often features dormer windows and a quaint cottage like feel to the exterior of the home. The term Cape Cod style came from so many beach cottages that were built on Cape Cod during the 40's and 50's. If you have purchased beachfront property somewhere, a custom designed Cape Cod style home would be the perfect style property to build on your land. A classic front porch could be added as well to offer that beach view while sitting outside.
A third style home that you could have done in a manufacturing plant could be more of a southwestern style that looks like a traditional adobe residence. This would be perfect for the couple that wishes to retire in Arizona or the family that has a vacation place in New Mexico. The adobe style is typically a one story home with red or tan stucco outside appearance to keep it cool in the hot desert temperatures. Large windows could be added for possible mountain vistas to as well as a completely open floor plan inside where all of the rooms flow into each other. This open floor plan is great for entertaining too.
Whatever style you can imagine, whether it is traditional or modern and contemporary, there is a choice for you to have it when you consider going with the manufactured method of building versus the traditional construction. What you save on construction costs could be used for other exciting things.
