Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions First Look
Activision’s newest original Spider-Man game will put you in the roll of four different versions of Spider-Man from different dimensions.

Sweet desserts have existed since the beginning of mankind. It is now enjoyed by people throughout the world in variety of flavors. In the past, only the affluent society folk could afford it while the ordinary people could only enjoy it on special occasions. Advancement of sugar production allowed its more extensive spread and at much more affordable prices to customers. People enjoyed desserts worldwide because of the increased supply of sugar.

Desserts are thought to have originated from a custom to remove the aftertaste of a meal with a sweet taste as they leave the mouth with a sweet flavor. The name confection is derived from a French word 'desservir' which means to clear the table. Thousands of dessert varieties exist today. Ice cream, cakes and pies are some of the popular desserts that have been present around since ancient times.

The origin of ice cream dates back around the 4th century BC, the Roman emperor Nero had ordered his followers to gather ice and add fruit toppings for his dessert. A Chinese king named Tang developed an early form of ice cream by combination of milk and ice. Ice cream was brought back by traders to Europe. Ice cream continued to evolve during history and recipes were soon developed for serving the French and Italian aristocracy.

Ice cream was introduced in America in 1700s. Many states offered ice cream as a dessert. It was served to guests by distinguished figures like Thomas Jefferson, George Washington and Dolly Madison. A caterer from London advertised in a New York paper in 1774 announcing his intentions to sell ice cream in his stores.

The word 'cake' is derived from an old word 'kaka'. The first use of word 'cake' was documented by the Oxford English Dictionary in the 13th century. Cakes eaten in ancient times were very different than today. Early cakes resembled with bread and honey and flavored with dried fruit and nuts. Early Egyptians were the first who used advanced methods in baking. Medieval Europe baked gingerbreads and fruitcakes as desserts. Advancements in baking and availability of cooking ingredients helped in the development of cakes. Round cakes with icing resembling with today's cakes were introduced in the mid 17th century. Modern cakes with baking powder and white flour were used for the first time in the 19th century.

Pies originated as dessert in Neolithic Period in 9500 BC. They were known as galettes which contained honey and different grains, it was baked on hot coals. The origin of pastry was an addition of bakers fruit, honey and nuts for serving the pharaoh. Drawings relating to this practice are decorated on the tomb of King Ramses II. Changes often occurred in the making of pie because of different ingredients and conditions.

Pie recipes were brought by Pilgrim women to America which was used by the Native Americans. A tradition of using round pans for pies were started was started by colonial women. Pies became a part of American culture in the 1700s as it was served as desert by pioneer women. Apple pie became a popular evening dessert for the American children.

First of all you need to get rid of the myth that you can manage time. You, like everyone else in the world only have 24 hours a day. Understand that you can't manage time, you can just manage yourself in time

Next question is: How do you use your time? Today with all kinds of websites, social media, tv-shows and everyone being online and reachable through phone and emails so many hours a day, it's easy to get distracted. To manage yourself in time you need to work at your full potential. But what does that mean? This article will give you necessary tips on how to get more time, or, in other words, use your time more effectively

Know how much your time is worth.

Time is limited, you can never get it back.

There is a formula developed Dan Kennedy that calculates how much your time is worth. Lets say you make $100 000 a year. There are 365 days, but lets be realistic, only about 250/year are work days. And if you work about 40 hours a week that's 2000 hours and that gives you $50/hour. But studies have shown that only about three hours a day are actually profitable. That's when you make revenue, when you work at your full potential. That leaves us with 750 hours a year. So your time is worth $100 000 hours divided by 750 hours and that gives you $130/hour. It's almost three times as much as you first thought. Did you know this? And with the fact that your never get back lost time, understand how valuable is actually is.

Now, next thing you need to do, is to DO something about it. Getting more out of your limited time only works if you're committed.

And remember to get the most out of every day means to work at your full potential. This means that you have to take care of yourself both mental and physical. Start thinking about how you treat your body. How much do you work out? What do you eat? Do you give yourself time to relax and "empty" your mind?

Know what steals your time

It's easy, with everything going on in the world today, to say that there are a lot of distractions. That's not really true. It's what you allows to be distractions that matter. Make a list of all the things that distracts you and schedule time for them. Then you'll feel less anxiety about "wasting your time".

Also make a list of all the important things you need to do and decide when to do them. Schedule a time for all these things and let nothing disturb you or get in your way when doing this. A little more focus can do wonders.

Tackle Overwhelmed.

The world is changing at rapid speed. New things, new technologies, new methods and solutions to everything. It is overwhelming!

And guess what, it's here to stay. But rather overwhelmed than underwhelmed.

Here are three tips on how to tackle it:

1. Plan when to manage information. Make this time important. This is when you learn new things

2. Disconnect. Plan some time when you're completely disconnected, no phone, no emails, no internet. Maybe even not family. Take some YOU TIME. A great leader in my life, Brian Parsley, actually plays Call of Duty every night to get away from everything.

3. Be aware. Why not make a journal? What should you do every day? What types of income producing activities? Learning? Socializing? What went good? What is worth keeping up with?

I complained about not having the results I desired. But then I put myself against the wall: Am I doing what I can? Am I using my time the best I can? I worked a lot, but how much of it was actually focused time when I worked at my full potential? I decided to change. From that they on I did as all my great mentors told me. Prioritize! I do all the most important things before noon and you know what, I have all afternoons and evenings dedicated to fun, projects and quality time with my family and friends.

It doesn't matter if you're an entrepreneur like me, a student or a employee, we all have things to do. If we remember what our time is worth, know what distracts us, schedule our priorities and stay committed to ourselves, we can easily gain extra hours everyday.

John Maxwell said, "Your success is determined by your daily agenda." Make your days count.

Is a Social Security Number the key to unlocking a person's criminal history?

The Social Security Number (SSN) is a unique number that really should be used to track an individual's criminal history, but it's not, because that is not its purpose.  In the U.S. a person's Date of Birth (DOB) is the primary identifier used in determining their criminal history.

The first purpose of the SSN was as a way to distribute benefits from the Social Security program that was created in 1937.  It wasn't until 1961 that the Civil Service Commission adopted the SSN as a federal employee identifier and the Internal Revenue Service didn't make it an official taxpayer ID until 1962.  Therefore, you don't need a SSN to run a criminal background check, but you do need one to run a credit report.

What are the 3 biggest credit report myths when applying for a job?

One:  Most applicants' think that collections will automatically fall off after two years.  Most collections and charge-offs will fall off after two years, but don't expect the 3 main credit bureaus (Equifax, Experian and Trans Union) to remember that.  Make sure you give them a call to remind them and submit documentation to insure that this information is removed after 24 months has passed.

Two:  Chapter 13 bankruptcy stays on your credit file for 7 years and Chapter 7 stays on your credit file for 10 years.  However, tax liens and child support will stay on your credit file indefinitely until they are satisfied.  Additionally, you cannot discharge tax liens, child support or educational loans in a bankruptcy.

Three:  An employer legally should only pull your credit file if it is germane to the position that you are seeking.  If you're apply as an accounts payable clerk who is handling checks, then it is permissible under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) to access the credit file.  Not so, if you're a receptionist doing light clerical and administrative work.

Is there such a thing as a "National" criminal check?

I am sorry to say, but a national criminal check does not exist.  A lot of background check companies often use misleading words like "National" or "U.S." to describe their databases.  Movies have sensationalized the "uber" database with a click of a key a dossier appears from birth to present day on their subject within a nanosecond.  Although the FBI is attempting to create an "uber" database, currently there is no public database that will check every jurisdiction in the U.S. simultaneously.  Even the National Crime Information Center (NCIC), which is a protected government database, has its flaws.

GObackgrounds.com has offices in Temecula, CA and Brookfield, WI and has been in business nearly 20 years as a licensed corporate investigations company specializing in employment background checks and due diligence for investment purposes. Knife Sharpening Experts: Amazing Ceramic KnivesWhen I first heard about ceramic knives, I couldn't believe it. I know that ceramic statues that fall shatter into many pieces. Why would a ceramic knife be any different? Boy was I wrong. Ceramic knives are much stronger than I thought.

Ceramic knives are made out of zirconium oxide. They aren't metallic whatsoever and have a flat, off-white to bright white color. Their composition is much harder than steel. Actually, they're second only to diamonds, which are the hardest mineral of all. Isn't that something?

There is another class of ceramic knives that have black blades. These blades start out as white zirconium...

Should we or shouldn't we? That's the question on everybody's mind. After all, it is the taxpayer's money that could potentially save the three auto giants (Ford, Chrysler and GM) from bankruptcy. The 1979 bailout for Chrysler does indicate a "yes" decision won't be regretted. However, many skeptics are on the fence regarding Chrysler. The auto circle is in the know about its owner's deep pockets, so...
