Peter Schjeldahl: An Yves Klein retrospective.
8220;May all that emerges from me be beautiful,” Yves Klein prayed, with what seems like utter sincerity, in the handwritten text of a reliquary-like work, enshrining blue and pink pigment and gold leaf in little Plexiglas boxes, from 1961. The last French artist of major international consequence . . .

Whenever you mention German clocks to Americans, the first thing they think of are the cuckoo clocks. But there are others aside from the notorious cuckoo clock.

The country has a fine history of clock making that dates back to mechanical clocks. Germany has long participated in this industry for as long as her people can remember.

If you look at your antique German clocks history, you will note that the spring driven clocks were developed in the fifteenth century.

At the beginning of the sixteenth century, Peter Henlein invented the watch. This event was the beginning of the prominence of the cities in Germany that had the first watches and clocks.

The first ever spring-driven table clocks are the antique German clocks that we know of today. They are either square boxes or drum shaped. Nonetheless, these clocks are a very important part of German history, specifically antique German clocks history.

These clock cases feature a cast scene of animals. The dial of these animals are only a single hand which indicates the Roman numerals of 1 to 12.

An enthusiast of antique German clocks know that Ausberg became the central for manufacturing these time pieces, especially the elaborate brass cased German clocks that we love at the moment.

These are usually seen in cathedrals. These have elaborate designs and they usually have illustrations of the zodiac, the sun and the moon. To this date, the models of this particular clock continue to sell well.

Ausberg was also known to be the center of production for the automated and early novelty clocks because of the development of proper calculation and advanced gearing of the ratios that are needed for the clocks to function.

Take for example, the favorite form of automation that is still popular now. This is the animal statue like the dog, elephant, and lion, with the blinking eyes. These particular antique German clocks are still being collected by the people who invest in clocks.

If they see one being sold, they buy these, restore these, and re-sell. Sometimes, they keep these to themselves in order to add to their collection.

Finally, another popular version are those that contain the design of the horses. These are found in royalty castles and also for the wealthy aristocrats.

This only proves the impact of these kinds of clocks to modern lifestyle. Despite the ancient designs, these clocks are very contemporary.

FRENCH VALLEY: Knights converge on middle school
Medieval times arrived in French Valley last week as a pair of armor-clad knights on horseback showed off their skills at jousting and sword fighting during an exciting live performance for students a

It's long been common knowledge that fury is the warrior leveling spec...but that knowledge is old. Revamps to the Arms tree mean that an Arms leveling spec is not only viable, it is in fact ideal once you are high enough to get Taste For Blood; you'll find mobs your own level die in only a few globals, assuming a decent weapon. So, we'll start with the spec, then discuss Glyphs:

2/2 Imp. Rend

3/3 Imp. Heroic Strike

2/2 Imp. Charge

3/3 Tactical Mastery

2/2 Imp. Overpower

1/1 Anger Management

2/2 Impale

3/3 Taste for Blood

2/3 Imp. 2H Weapon Spec

1/1 Sweeping Strikes

3/3 Imp. 2H Weapon Spec

3/3 Deep Wounds

2/2 Trauma

2/2 Weapon Mastery

1/5 Any Weapon Spec

1/1 Mortal Strike

2/2 Imp. Slam

2/2 Str. of Arms

3/3 Imp. Mortal Strike

2/2 Unrelenting Assault

3/3 Sudden Death

2/2 Blood Frenzy

5/5 Wrecking Crew

1/1 Bladestorm

1/1 Juggernaut

1/1 Endless Rage

Fury will be our secondary tree for our Arms leveling spec.

3/3 Armored To The Teeth

5/5 Cruelty

2/5 Unbridled Wrath

3/3 Imp. Cleave

4/5 Unbridled Wrath

2/2 Imp. Execute

With one point left over. Note that it is worth dropping Weapons Mastery and Anger Management to fill up a weapon specialization IF you have an heirloom weapon. Otherwise it isn't worth the cost of respeccing or waste of the talent not always being used.

Now, what Glyphs are ideal will vary with level, but here are my preferences for Major Glyphs:

Overpower (only until you get Taste For Blood)

Mortal Strike

Rending

Bladestorm

And for Minor Glyphs for your Arms leveling spec, I'd go with:

Charge

Battle

Bloodrage

I hope this spec helps you get your warrior to level eighty quickly!

Not long ago, we still think a quad band phone a miracle. But now, quad band phone is more and more common, and more and more multi-function phones are created. Such as quad band phones with wifi, quad band TV cell phones, quad band and dual sim phones, etc. How about your phones? Is it still a miracle phone with physical keyboard and can be only used to make calls and send SMS?

You have to admit that though many functions built-in seems not so important for you, and maybe you'll never use them, you even don't know your phone "can do this", you are still attracted by phones which owns various functions when purchasing a mobile phone.

Now let's have a look at some samples of multi-function phones.

The CCK13 comes with a very small cute appearance which makes it quite convenient and light to carry with. You can hold it in your palm or put it in your pocket. It adds very little weight to you. It has dual camera: 0.3MP front camera for self-capture and 1.3MP back camera, which let you fully enjoy the capturing of vivid photos and video clips. The 2.2 inch high vivid touch screen of QVGA resolution feeds back highly sensibly. So you can dial phones or send messages at the right time when you are in urgency without delay by the phone. Despite of its small size, it owns many powerful functions like any other large size phones own.

Via its Bluetooth set, you can share your favorite music with your friends as well as profiles transmitting; also, you can use the wired earphones with MIC and clip to enjoy your favorite music. The phone supports TF Card memory expanding up to 16GB in size, which means enough space to plant in files as you like. You can find the TF memory card slot behind the battery, next to the dual SIM slots. As a Dual SIM Dual Standby mobile phone, it ensures that you will be connected by someone others when you are speaking to some person through phone.

Though it is brick-shaped, the M009 gives very comfortable hand feel when you handle it. The front panel of the phone is mostly occupied with a 3.0 inch high vivid touch screen of QVGA resolution, which provides perfect feedback when you press the icons and write messages. Right under the screen, there locates three keys: CALL/ANSWER key, ENTER key and END key from left to right. With dual cameras, you can take self-captures with the front camera and shoot photos with the back camera, besides which a LED light is located. Its 2.0M pixels of shooting effect ensure its high definition of photos. On the left side of the phone is a long volume rocker bar which could be used to control the volumes with UP to loud voice and DOWN to low voice, while on the upper top of the phone houses the mini USB port which is used for battery charging and linking to computers.

The Star C6000 cellphone features a chic black finish with chrome highlights surrounding its sleek design and a bright 2.2-inch display that delivers the highest resolution available on this phone (480 x 320 resolutions) ---presenting pictures, web pages and videos with incredible clarity. Designed to be efficient and convenient, the phone introduces 39-key backlit QWERTY keyboard for fast and precise typing. A 3.5mm headphone jack at the right side enables you to enjoy the music with most common earphones.

Moreover, this phone comes with multiple unique polyphonic ringtones, and it has vibrated and silent modes when you need to keep things quiet. You also can snap vivid photos as well as video clips using the HD megapixel camera on the back, which can snap photos as large as 2048*1536 pixels. The camera on the front is for self capture. Image editor enables you to make some simple but funny edition of the photos in your photo album.

Socceroos saga: Have your say
After Australia's controversial draw with Ghana, foxsports.com.au is giving you the chance to tell us your thoughts on the Socceroos' performance. Email us now.

With the advent of industrial revolution in the United States and other countries, awareness towards the excellence of shepherding dogs came into being. During this period, Capt. Max von Stephanitz found a dog at a show in Germany that exhibited all the attributes often found separately in shepherding dogs. Named as Horand v Grafeth by its founder, this dog was used for various breeding programs, which eventually led to the development of a splendid breed, the German Shepherd.

The following is an easy 9-step approach towards drawing the side-view of the skeleton of a German Shepherd. We first draw the basic framework and will then replace each of the lines with their corresponding bones to complete the task.

• Vertebral Column: Draw a horizontal line representing the back vertebrae.

• Upper Chest: Draw a 'V' such that one of its ends touches an end of the horizontal line with the other end lying vertically below the first one. The angle between the arms should be 90-100 degrees and arm length, two-third the length of the horizontal line. Keep the vertexes pointing outside. This 'V' represents the Shoulder Blade, the Humerus, and Sternum.

• Pelvic Bones: From the other end of the line drawn in Step 1, sketch outwards a slightly tilted line of about half the length of the former line. It corresponds to the Ilium.

• Neck Vertebrae: Now, draw a perpendicular line extending outwards from the middle of the upper arm of the 'V' drawn in Step 2 with a length equal to the length of the arms of 'V.' This is a representation of the neck vertebrae.

• Forearms: Next, draw a vertical line from the free end of the 'V.' This reflects the bones of the forearm, the Radium and the Ulna.

• Hind Legs: From the middle of the line formed in Step 3, draw another V such that one of the arms is vertical and the other is at an angle of 120 degrees from the first one. Keep the length of the first arm of 'V' same as the length of the line drawn in Step 3 and that of the other arm about four-third of the first arm. This 'V' represents the bones of the hind legs.

• Feet: Draw a vertical line from the free end of the 'V' in Step 6 of such a length that the horizontal level of this line and that of the one drawn in Step 4 is the same. This line is the representative of Metatarsus and Phalanges bones of the feet.

• Skull & Jaw: Draw the shape of a horizontally lying egg at the free end of the line drawn in Step 4 such that the broadest part of the egg touches the end of the line. This symbolizes the skull and the jawbones of the dog.

• Rib Cage: Now replace all the lines with the correspondingly mentioned bones along with the addition of bones of the ribcage extending from the corner of 'V' in Step 2 to half the length of back Vertebrae.

Sword Very Good

Kids of Carlos Santana , Bob Marley sing their dads' praises in 'A Song for My Father' compilation
It's the ultimate double-edged sword. Children of famous musicians have privilege, riches and connections at their disposal. But they're also doomed to wander forever in their parents' long shadows.

Paper recycling is the process of converting waste paper into new useable paper. Recycling paper takes half the energy needed to produce new paper. Most trash consists of paper in one form or another. Every 100 pounds of trash contains 35 pounds of paper.

Paper is usually made from trees but cloth and grass can be used to make paper as well. Many paper companies plant trees solely for the purpose of making paper. Once a tree is cut down to be processed into paper, another tree is planted in its place. The entire tree is used in one way or another. The bulk of the tree is chopped into small chips that are eventually turned into paper. Once these chips are processed into paper, bleach is added to make higher quality white paper. The bark and roots of the tree are used for energy in the paper mill.

Recycling takes waste paper and mixes it with fresh wood pulp to create new paper. Unlike aluminum cans, which can be recycled over and over again, paper can only be recycled 5 to 6 times. The fibers of the paper become too weak over time to reuse. Mixing in fresh wood pulp strengthens the recycled paper, making it more durable.

The benefits of recycling paper are less waste in landfills, less pollution in the environment from the manufacturing processes and less disruption of nature. The disruption of nature, however, is not always considered to be a strong reason to recycle because many trees are planted and replanted solely for the purpose of making paper. The benefit of less paper in the landfills is due to the biodegradable nature of paper. When paper rots in the landfill, it creates methane, which contributes to global warming. Recycling services are usually cheaper than traditional trash pickup. Also, less energy is used in recycling, although the energy savings are not as large as they are in recycling other types of materials such as aluminum or steel.

The most commonly recycled types of paper that are recycled are plain white paper, newspaper, cardboard, construction paper, and magazines. Some types of paper are not ideal for recycling. Gift wrap is one type. Paper coated with materials such as aluminum foil or plastic is also not ideal. The processing of these types of paper is too expensive to warrant recycling. It is also necessary to separate different types of paper prior to recycling. High paper grades are separated from low grades. Cardboard, newspaper, and magazines are examples of low grade paper. White and colored office paper are considered to be high grade.

In some areas a curbside pickup can be scheduled for recycling paper. It is important to keep the paper dry, therefore placing outside on rainy days is discouraged. There may be local drop off areas as well. Many offices have recycling bins readily available as paper is largely used in offices. Supermarkets and civic centers may also have paper recycling bins readily available. It may also be useful to cut down on paper usage in general by using computers or email to electronically handle communication and documentation.

Imperial Bayonet Trench

Trench Drain System, How do you build one?The first thing you need to do when building a new trench drainage system is to consult your local authority or the government body that is responsible for plumbing and drainage matters. You also need to inform your local building control department at your council office. You should also present a detailed plan of the work you need to undertake and have it inspected and as the work progresses; make sure it complies with the local buildings regulations.

There are two types of trench drainage system namely foul water system and surface water drainage system. Water that comes out of the kitchen, bathrooms, utility rooms, car washing areas...
