A tactical, or combat, knife is a knife that is specifically designed for use by the military, especially those involved in close combat. However, with the end of trench warfare, there is typically not much close combat taking place anymore, and thus, tactical knifes have become more of a utility type of tool.

These knives are now most often used to clear foliage, open crates with ammunition and other supplies, or to chop branches to use as cover. There are many different knives available today, depending on the intended use. Today you can find tactical knifes in many different shapes. You can also find a variety of sizes, although the military tends to standardize the particular types of knives that they issue to their soldiers. I want to start out by saying welcome to Steel Hunting Knives. Come check out my newly designed website. After years of hunting myself, I have decided to create a website devoted to the hunter providing them with the best selection of hunting knives available on the market. Four Easy Walking Directions Tips: Walk to Lose Weight

If you are as old as myself I am sure you remember the old song, "Little Things Mean A Lot"! That song was certainly not talking about exercise or the walking man or woman. However the meaning would apply in a very large way to the subject of exercising. Why? Because it would benefit all of us to walk just a little bit every day to maintain or increase our fitness level. That does not mean you have to power walk. Not at all...it simply means the power of people walking every day will benefit them greatly

Why aren't we walking around for an hour every day? Well here's three solid reasons:

We think about the idea too long

We think we have to do that long walk all at once

We know it is easier not to walk at all

Yes, walking around for an hour every day would increase everyone's fitness efficiency considerably. However with the average person's busy combination of work and life style in the modern workaday, very few people have a spare "whole hour" to spend walking around the block every day.

Here are four easy walking directions tips to ensure you will walk at least 30 minutes every day

Tip One - Use your eating times as walking goals!

Walking around for 10 minutes after each meal will be beneficial. Surely that's not difficult. If at work enjoy your 10 minute walk in the fresh air after eating your lunch. Clear some of that building smog from your lungs.

Have a baby or tiny tots? Pack them into your pusher or pram. Around the block you go. The kids will love the change of scenery.

Tip Two - Walk to and from school with your children!

Live only ten minutes from the children's school? Then walk. Set a fitness example for your children. You will enjoy a twenty minute round trip. Twice a day....wow that's 40 minutes...easy and not hard work. Save some car fuel and do your body and the environment a favour! And you dont have to power walk and wear yourself out. Take a brisk pace...and just keep up with the kids!

Tip Three - Park your car at the far end of the shopping mall carpark

Why wreck your nerves driving endlessly around the mall car park fighting for a parking spot close to the entrance. There are always plenty of parking spaces in the distance. And your body will benefit from the extra walking exercise.

Tip Four - Walk to the bus stop

Only a ten minute walk to where you catch your commuter bus? Dont drive and park. Walk!

Now many people will say. What's the point of going to all that trouble. What use is a ten minute walk? Well in this case that ten minute walk multiplies into "40 minutes" by day's end! It's too easy really!

Each ten minute walk quickly adds up to an hour per day. And that's preferable to not doing any exercise each day.

Get the idea! How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time! In our modern, never stop world, exercising at a painless pace of "one bite" at a time is highly preferable to doing nothing. Gradually you will come to enjoy this new "habit"!

The habit will lead to greater fitness. Greater fitness will lead to you wanting to undertake more ambitious efforts to increase your physical fitness. Move on to a power walk perhaps?People walking power is the key to beginning to enjoy a healthier life style plus assist to lose some kilos!

Everyone who starts playing the game eventually wants to know the same thing: how to increase your Runescape combat level fast. After all, all the best stuff happens when you have the right combat level!

You can wear better armour, use better weapons, finish more elite quests, and get access to better areas. Most certainly, you can make more money by killing bigger beasts, and killing them faster.

The common misconception about leveling in Runescape is that you should work on the highest possible level of monsters that you can kill in decent quantities. Since XP is based on the amount of damage you do, and that damage is based on the number of hit points the monster has, it is natural to conclude that it is better to fight the monsters with the higher combat level. But this is wrong, for at least two reasons.

First, higher combat in NPCs does not mean higher Hit Points. Many times it reflects higher Defence or ability to do damage to you, so not only are you not doing more damage, but you are actually taking more too. This means more trips for food or prayer potions, and that is not the way to faster leveling.

Second, tougher monsters take longer to kill, and even if they have more Hit Points, it might be taking you a lot longer to do the damage it takes to kill them. What counts is not the Hit Points per kill, but the Hit Points per hour that you are doing. After all, you measure the time you play in minutes and hours, and not kills.

When I was on my last few levels before maxing out my combat skills, I did a lot of slayer tasks to keep myself motivated. One thing that I did differently from everyone else was to turn in the tasks that would take too long to accomplish. This meant that I never bothered slaying metal dragons, even though there were some nice potential drops there. I know for a fact that if I had kept all those slower tasks that I would still be waiting to get my first 99 skill. As it is I have 4 now (you can check my character Erikfrombc on the high scores for proof).

So what does this mean for the beginning player? Simply put, start low and work your way up. Whenever I make a new character I start out with chickens and stay there for a while. Not only do I get fast levels, but I also get prayer XP for burying bones, feathers that stack and which I can sell for decent money and better weapons quickly, and cooking XP from the raw chickens that I can cook in the nearby cooking pot.

I have a strategy that takes me from Level 3 to 50 in less than a week, with no more than 2 hours played per day. And with that I make enough money to improve my armor and weapons as I become qualified for them. Feel free to take a look at it at http://www.runescape-strategy.com/.
