The following is an expert opinion by a Military Tanker: "Being a Marine Corps tanker is the way to go. Can't go into a lot of detail about how Army Tankers and Marine Tankers are different, just that the entire culture of the Army is so much different than the Marines. Either way you'll go to Ft. Knox, Kentucky. I found it to be a drab and miserable place. I give all due respect to the Army. Anyone who risks their lives in a combat field deserves respect. But, I could never have served in an Army unit. There just isn't that same Spirit."

"Army tankers go to boot camp at Knox. You watch how they train and it was laughable. They'd be sitting around drinking beer on a saturday night talking about how hard boot camp is and how the Drill Sgt. was mean because he made them do 25 push ups. If I would have went to Army boot instead of the Marines I may have failed. Not because it is harder but because there just didn't seem to be that motivating."

Anger is a negative emotion and we all become victims of it at some time or other and as with all negative emotions cannot be overcome easily. Although this may take time and effort to implement, you need to identify ways to control anger.

Most of us have broken or damaged something in the heat of the moment or in a fit of anger and when reflecting on our actions, have regretted it. But the regret does not last and before long it happens again.

If not controlled, anger could affect your relationship with your partner or members of your family who at various times could become victims of your seemingly uncontrollable anger although this is not intentional on your part.

Most of the time the reason for fits of anger lies with your own actions but as with all negative emotions you look for someone to blame as you never see yourself as the one at fault. You have always blamed somebody else and that is how you have dealt with it. But in fact you have not dealt with it at all, only put it to one side.

To overcome your problem and find a way to control anger, you must begin with a certain amount of self analysis, accepting the fact that you have a problem and you have the desire to deal with it. This is of the utmost importance. WITH ENOUGH DESIRE YOU CAN OVERCOME OR ACHIEVE ANYTHING. Now read this line again.

When the feeling of anger begins to consume you, you must stop what you are doing immediately and analyse the situation concentrating on all that is good in your life. Is it worth sending your blood pressure sky high? Is it worth damaging what you might be working on? No - so relax, take deep breaths and take stock of the situation.

Instead of taking compulsive action then regretting what you have done you are altering your mindset to finally eliminate and control anger. It will take some time for these actions to work but when repeated on a regular basis it will become easier and more able to undertake.

Even in a heated argument, the person that remains in control of their emotions takes control of the situation.

If your mind is in an angry state you are unable to think clearly or rationally. So you owe it to yourself to address your problem and by doing this you regain the respect of those nearest and dearest to you.

Mark has concentrated on this subject as in his childhood he was blighted by lack of self confidence and low self esteem and would like to share his experiences of how he has overcome these issues in the hope that it will help others conquer similar problems.

Have you ever been shopping in a busy mall, stopped to look at something only to discover that in the brief time it took to do so, your child has wandered away from you? If in reading this question you are able to answer no, you undoubtedly know someone who has be en in this situation.

Each minute, somewhere in the country, a parent is separated from their child.These separations sometimes last only a few seconds; in other instances they last much longer, causing the store to go into a lock-down situation. The truth of the matter is, wherever there are large crowds; parades, country fairs, busy city streets etc., young children will inevitably become separated from their parents.

In speaking with hundreds of parents a week, though the situations and circumstances may vary slightly, we hear the same scary tale over and over again. The end result is always the same. Panic in its purest form, 100% pure unadulterated panic.

In situations when the child is not located within a few moments, the parent will be asked by either a store employee, security staff or even a police officer to provide an accurate description of the lost child, as well as what the child was wearing at the time.In a similar situation, when in a state of panic, would you be able to provide an accurate description of your child?

Let's be honest with ourselves, all young children look more or less the same! With the exception of the color of their skin, hair and eyes, all young children are short, cute, have big beautiful eyes and a few missing teeth. Add to this the fact that in this situation, most parents do not remember what their child was wearing at the time.

Most parents, often the mother, carry their a children's identification in the form of Medicare information and Social Insurance cards. However, very few fathers carry any of their child's specific identification. As proud fathers, they have one if not several pictures of their child. However, as the child grows older, those pictures are updated less and less frequently.

When looking for a a Child ID provider, find one whose program includes wallet-sized identification profile cards for your children. These profile cards will allow you to list your child's specific identification, including a recent picture. One thing to keep in mind is that children grow like weeds, so you will want to find a program that provides you with an unlimited supply. This will allow you to update them as required. A good rule of thumb is to update the information and picture every three months until children reach the age of three, and at least once a year thereafter.

When reading this, please don't think that because your child is rarely out of your sight, this could never happen to you. When arriving at the scene, this is inevitably the first thing the responding police officers hear from the parents. These situations occur not out of neglect, but due to everyday situations that are completely out of our control.

The pro-active and preventative measures you have taken as a responsible parent, to ensure your a child's safety, will be invaluable in helping you to provide the authorities with accurate information when time is of the essence, should you ever find yourself in a similar situation.

Do not procrastinate! Remember the Boy Scout motto "Always be prepared". Make sure that both parents never leave home without their child's identification.
