Transplanting the tomatoes outside, is the main step, after carefully grown indoors for several weeks, and after soaking the plants is the beginning of a healthy harvest. The plants need to be hardened before transplanted, and the transplanting date should be a cloudy day or in the late afternoon if possible.

A careful planification of a transplanting date, will require to make sure all the ingredients are present, water, fertilizer, prepared soil and of course the right location. tomatoes need a sunny location, enough fertilizer and water at the time of transplanting. Protecting them from cutworms can be done right before transplanting them, by carefully placing a newspaper collar around the stem of the plants, this way the insects wont be able to chew the fragile stem.

The whole procedure should be done quick to ensure the lest shock exposure to the plant. When all of this is ready, all what is left is to proceed with the trench planting technique, for this is needed to lay the whole plant, up to the top leaves, in to a shallow trench horizontally.

This procedure will help the plant develop more roots, allowing more moisture nutrients to go in the plant's system ensuring a quicker start. Other advantages for the plant with this system is that it would be easier for the plant to warm up as the roots are closer to the ground.

After digging the trench, add some fertilizer and cover this with some soil, carefully remove the tomato plant from it's original planter or tray, set the newspaper collar, cut some of the lower leaves leaving the stronger leaves on the top, and lay the plant horizontally on the trench. Cover quickly with rest of soil, tie the top part of the plant to a wooden support and water immediately.

For tomatoes, bare soil for root cover is enough, as opposed to covering that soil with mulch, mulch prevents the sun rays from going in the soil and plant roots, and tomato plants need that direct sun exposure. Trenching encourages the top leaves and stems to produce fruit, so the first fruits seeing after trench transplanting would be located near the cluster of eaves left showing at the time of transplantation. This means extra harvest quantity making the harvest season a bit longer. The plants can be spaced by 16 or 20 inches apart or closer if they will be staked.

Knot Portapee

The oldest known piled rug (the so called Pazyryk Rug) can be dated all the way back to the 5th Century BC. Scholars have long been debating both the origin of this piece and of weaving in general. However, what they all agree on is that handwoven rugs have been made continuously in many parts of the world for centuries. While designs, dying techniques and looms may have changed over time the actual craft of weaving has changed very little. The majority of piled carpets are still woven today using one of three basic knotting techniques; symmetric knotting, asymmetric knotting, or tibetan knotting. The process of creating a rug starts with the loom. Most modern weaving regions today...

From Garand Bayonet

Cocaine is a white powder made from an extract of the leaves of the coca plant indigenous to South America. It is believed the natives in South America were chewing coca leaves as far back as 3000 BC. The leaves gave them a lift, and staved off exhaustion and hunger. For these beneficial properties, the coca plant was considered a gift from God. In the 1400s, the Incas, an ancient Peruvian civilization, started cultivating coca extensively. This was the foundation of the modern coca crop, the origin of today's cocaine. The Spanish were exposed to the plant when they invaded parts of South America in the early 1500s. Sensing the benefits of the plant they promptly took over the coca...
