In order to gain the best USMC boot camp knowledge possible, you may have to go to different sources. For instance, I find that it is beneficial to go to someone that has already dealt with the training find out what it's like and what exactly you will be learning while there. I will now outline some other sources that you can use for gathering the knowledge that will help you out at boot camp.
1. Go to your local Marine Corps recruitment office :
Talk to someone that knows what it's like to be at Parris Island and learn exactly what you have to do in order to make sure that you are accepted into the camp. At a recruitment office, they will tell you what documentation you need to have and what you can basically expect to go through as a recruit. Make sure that you ask them very pertinent questions about the mental and physical aspects of the training so that you be able to ensure that your chances of surviving the marine training will be high.
2. Watch lots of videos online of Marine boot camp training :
Do a quick search on a major search engine to find videos that illustrate what it will be like for you once you're attending Parris Island. Some of these videos will have actually been taken by recruits during their training. This will provide you with a perfect way of viewing what you can expect to go through.
3. Search for forums online that will give you an idea of what has to be memorized during boot camp :
There are actually numerous specialized sites online that are being constantly updated with comments and statements from people that have gone through boot camp personally.
