Varga Vargas Calendar
The Aztec people were certain ethnic groups in Central Mexico, particularly those groups who spoke the Nahuatl dialect and who dominated huge parts of Mesoamerica in the 14th, 15th and 16th centuries, a period referred to as the late post-classic time period in Mesoamerican chronology. Both the Mayan and Aztec 2012 calendar have the similar time cycle. Usually the term "Aztec" refers solely to the Mexica people of Tenochtitlan, situated on an island in Lake Texcoco, who referred to themselves as Mexica Tenochca or Colhua-Mexica. Sometimes the term also consists of the inhabitants of Tenochtitlan's two main allied city-states, the Acolhuas of Texcoco and the Tepanecs of Tlacopan, who together with the Mexica formed the Aztec Triple Alliance which has also become recognized as the "Aztec Empire".
Both civilizations have created a calendar that were said to foresee the future of humanity. The Aztec 2012 calendar consists of two separated rounds. One of these has a 365 day cycle, while the other has a 260 day cycle. The 365 day calendar is divided into 18 periods of 20 days plus five "unlucky days", while the 260 day calendar is broken down into 20 periods of 13 days. The quicker one was used for religious purposes while the longer calendar was used for agricultural purposes as well as determining when to have specific ceremonies. There was of course a longer 52 year count, and it was recognized as a century. At the starting of every century the two calendars normally would align.
The Mayans have been said to have an advanced understanding regarding astronomy, engineering, and most especially mathematics. They possess various calendars that were applied in order to monitor time in linear progressions within cycles. The stated calendar equates to 5,125.36 years. It was said on that calendar count that the great cycle is to be finished on the winter solstice of the 21st of December in the year 2012. A few scientists and great lecturers interpreted this, that when this Great cycle finishes, the Earth will also arrive to an end.
Scientists and scholars also talk about one possibility on how the Earth and the solar system will suffer in the year 2012. They alarmed us for decades about the slow but continuous deterioration of our ozone layer. With this given fact, we can all agree that our planet Earth is conducive to all kinds of foreign bodies floating in our solar system. These objects are called comets and asteroids. They are small planets that are icy rock and said to be left over from a solar system. Another 2012 prophecy is said that a big asteroid will hit our planet Earth. But some who interpreted the 2012 prophecy said that this is the start of a new age. This is a significant time for the human race to have a dramatic change physically and mentally.
